The Residential Waste Collection Improvement Project is well underway and continues to be rolled out across Barbados. However some households are still waiting to be assigned their traceable roll out garbage and recycling receptacles.
On today’s episode of Face It and Fix It, Communications Officer of ProSource Limited Jennel Edwards broke down the process of registering the bins. She also explains why households with fixed rate water meters, may experience delays in receiving the bins.
Ms. Edwards is asking the public to remain patient.
The Residential Waste Collection Improvement Project was officially launched in September last year and ProSource has been working alongside the Sanitation Service Authority to distribute the bins across Barbados.
Ms. Edwards added that residences with commercial water meters will not be assigned garbage receptacles automatically. However, she explained how those households can go about receiving bins.
