The environmental issues plaguing Lawrence T. Gay Primary could be solved soon, as the Barbados Union of Teachers receives financial support to help pay for whatever is required.
BUT President Rudy Lovell, says they’ve been successful in getting public assistance which could help solve the environmental problems at the school.
Speaking to the CBC, the union head also touched on the security issue at Belmont Primary.
A recent shooting in the area damaged the school’s gate and prompted the Ministry of Education to meet with teachers to address safety concerns.
