Media workers who covered the eruption of the La Soufrière Volcano earlier this year have been awarded for their bravery and extensive coverage of the event.
The awards came from their umbrella body, the Barbados Association of Journalists and Media Workers (BARJAM).
10 reporters and photographers from the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, the Nation, Barbados Today, Loop News and Starcom Network were presented with certificates of recognition for the good work they did.
President of BARJAM, Keith Goddard commended the journalists and photographers.
