The Government of Barbados will continue to look for ways to curb the high cost of living, that’s the word from Member of Parliament for St. Michael West, Chris Gibbs.
Gibbs was speaking at his annual children’s Christmas party at the St. Leonard’s Boys School Gibbs, stated that the rise in cost of living has been one of the major problems for the year 2023.
Acknowledged the fact that finding a way to curb the rise would be a difficult task but it’s not an impossible one.
Gibbs also spoke about the climate change problem.
He believes the use of technology and programmes that the Ministry of Agriculture is trying to implement can help tackle some of the issues caused by climate change.
