A secondary school student is nursing stab wounds following an altercation earlier today at the Barbados Licensing Authority’s Pine Branch.
It is understood the fight shifted from the main street into the yard of the BLA and emergency officials were called to the scene.
However, business at the Pine branch was not affected and continued as normal.
Acting Deputy Chief Licensing Officer, Lynette Williams, revealed the incident left staff members shaken.
She described the altercation as very ‘traumatic’ for staff and very unfortunate for the Licensing Authority.
She stressed the Authority will not tolerate any form of disturbance or violence on its property.
