The Boy Scouts Association of Barbados is aiming to increase its membership, after a significant drop during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Association has been trying various ways to boost its numbers and the interest of children in becoming scouts.
It held its second annual Fun Day in Queen’s Park which attracted more than 500 people.
Chairman of the Fun Day Committee Jason King says there are some other things in place to attract both youth and adults.
Mr. King also says the Boys Scouts Association has been in discussions with the Barbados Defence Force and Barbados Cadet Corp on how to better prepare people to join the force.
