B.W.A. emergency leak detection on in St. George

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to advise residents of some St. George areas currently affected by water outages that its leak detection teams have been working to determine the source of the problem affecting their districts.

Crews have been carrying out urgent leak detection activities in Greens, Drax Hall and surrounding areas in St. George and this activity will continue on Tuesday, December 20, and the search expanded as needed. 

Unfortunately, the pipe-borne supply for customers in Drax Hall Jump, Drax Hall Tenantry, Fairview Crescent and surrounding districts may continue to be impacted until the source of the problem is found.

BWA water tanker crews will continue to assist residents in the above areas as a temporary measure.  

The Authority apologises for the inconvenience caused and will update affected residents on the progress of the work. (PR)
