Barbados and Jamaica have signed a memorandum of understanding signalling their agreement to strengthen the longstanding cooperation between the two countries.
The MOU was inked by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kerrie Symmonds and his Jamaican counterpart Senator Kamina Johnson-Smith on the sidelines of the recent 11th United Kingdom Caribbean Forum held in Jamaica.
The MOU provides for the two countries to cooperate more closely in areas including tourism, air services, trade, investment, the medicinal cannabis industry and education.
