The Barbados Police Service says there is no truth to the rumours of a mass resignation of recruits currently on their initial training course at the Regional Police Training Centre, Seawell, Christ Church.
In a release from the Service, it was noted that on January 23, 2023, 57 Barbadian recruits (36 males and 21 females) entered the Centre to begin initial training.
According to the release, as of today, February 14, 2023, the number of Barbadian recruits is still 57, and none of them have resigned from their posts
The Barbados Police Service has described the allegations of mass resignations as “ridiculous and unfortunate”.
It says it is privileged to have the young men and women from various communities stepping forward to give patriotic service to Barbados.
