He adds that the partnership and friendship continue between his country and the island even with its transition to a Republic.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ukraine expressed hope that Barbados will experience prosperity.
Slovenia in extending congratulations says that the country looks forward to further strengthening cooperation and friendly ties.
Qatar, Serbia and the Maldives also wished Barbados a happy independence.
