Barbados’ primary acute care medical facility is not ready to abandon the COVID-19 protocols just yet.
Despite the COVID-19 Directive coming to an end yesterday, Wednesday, December 21, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) is maintaining the related protocols.
Word of this came from the Manager of the Patient Relations Department, Dr. Rhea Corbin-Harte.
Dr. Corbin-Harte adds that in the meantime, the QEH will determine how it will move forward from next month.
