President of the Democratic Labour Party, Verla De Peiza, is this morning congratulating the Barbados Labour Party for its success at yesterday’s polls and for recapturing all 30 seats in Parliament.
Ms. De Peiza says despite the result, she was proud of her team and what they were able to accomplish in such a short space of time.
Speaking at the DLP headquarters early this morning, she stressed the continued low voter turn out at the polls remains a cause for concern.
Ms. De Peiza added they intend to meet at a later date to decide the next step for the Party.
