EU gives solar robotics kits to Barbados

The Ministry of Education’s robotics thrust in local schools has gotten an injection valued millions of euros.

It came as the European Union handed over 72 solar robotic kits with a price tag of three million euros as part of its 11th EDF.

Head of Cooperation of the Delegation to Barbados and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, Luis Maia explains many benefits will be reaped especially for current and future generations.

Welcoming the donation, Education Minister Santia Bradshaw said it will strengthen her Ministry’s S.T.E.A.M. and robotic programmes.
