HRMAB taking human resources to the next level

We are hearing there is scope for human resources to be more strategic.

The comment came from President of the Human Resource Management Association of Barbados Inc. (HRMAB), Ambassador Joan Underwood, as that body prepares to hold a Strategic Business Partner Bootcamp later this year.

She told a media conference at the offices of the Barbados Coalition of Service Industries, they were able to secure what they call pillar sponsors for a rigorous two-day workshop at Sandals Resort.

President and Chief Executive Officer of Chartered Professionals in Human Resources, Canada, Anthony Ariganello, said the HR professional should know how a business is valued as this will help to make it successful.

The Strategic Business Partner Bootcamp will start with a face-to-face session on March 16 and switch to virtual the following day.
