Progress is being made in the land access issue at Joe’s River, St Joseph, first raised by residents two months ago after construction by a developer sparked concerns.
That is the word from St. Joseph Member of Parliament and Attorney General Dale Marshall, who tells CBC News that the issue is very close to settlement.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the annual Parris Hill, St. Joseph Big Kite event.
As a result, he says he is optimistic agreement will be reached.
