Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is firmly of the view that services must be brought to people and not people to services.
This she says is the philosophy of the Barbados Labour Party.
Ms. Mottley was addressing a ceremony on Sunday evening to rename the polyclinic in the Glebe St. George, the Frederick “Freddie” Miller Polyclinic, in honour of the former parliamentarian and health minister
Noting Mr. Miller’s commitment to service, the Prime Minister suggested that people must be at the centre of service delivery.
She also stressed that the decentralisation of services is critical to Barbados being fit for purpose in a modern world.
