A man was shot during an incident which occurred at Sol Banyan Court, Bay Street, St. Michael.
Police at the Hastings/Worthing Station received reports about the incident that occurred around 4:35 pm today, Sunday 25th September 2022.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a group of young men were in the car park of the local business when they were approached by two men who open fire on them. One of the young men received an injury to his left foot. He was transported by ambulance to a medical facility for medical attention.
Investigations are continuing and the Barbados Police Service is appealing to the public for any information regarding this incident. People may call the Criminal Investigation Department (Hastings/Worthing Station) at 430-7608, Police Emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1800-TIPS (8477) or the nearest Police Station.
Police added that “all information received will be strictly confidential”.
