Years after winning the government and despite many promises, the Barbados Labour Party has failed to address corruption.
That claim came from Leader of the Opposition, Bishop Joseph Atherley, during his contribution to debate in Parliament today.
Bishop Atherley believes the door remains open to corruption with the absence of campaign and electoral financing rules.
He has also reiterated a call for the creation of the post of a Contractor General in Barbados.
