Significant progress has been made despite some setbacks on a number of roads being fixed under the 43 million dollar Inter-American Development Bank Project.
Some of the roads included in the project are the ABC Highway from the Norman Niles Roundabout to the Clyde Walcott Roundabout, Carmichael Road in St. George, and the Ermie Bourne Highway.
Two of the nine roads under the project have been completed and another five are 99 percent completed.
Two are ongoing.
Deputy Chief Technical Officer for Projects, Dave Scantlebury told the Morning Report when work commenced, the expectation was that it would have been completed within six months.
Five contracts were awarded for the nine roads.
Mr. Scantlebury says residents in areas where roads have been fixed are welcomed.
