St John accident leaves road impassable

The road along Clifton Hall, St John near the Plantation is currently impassable.

This is the result of a collision which occurred in that area around 1 pm today, Friday 20 May 2022, involving a jeep and a Transport Board bus.

While the Barbados Police Service did not provide details on injuries at this time, it noted that a pole and high tension wires are hanging across the road, which has made it impassable.

Police Officers are presently on the scene directing traffic and l are asking that motorists avoid that area and seek an alternate route.

If coming from Malverton heading towards Sherbon they can divert at Four Roads and if coming from the area of the Glebe, they can divert at Parris Hill.
