Urgent need to change perspectives on agriculture

Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley, sees youth involvement in the regional agricultural sector as critical for the future. 

She says the region cannot build a future agricultural sector with an ageing population.

She shared the view during an address at the opening of the inaugural Agri-Investment Forum and Expo in Guyana.

Ms Mottley pushed for decent work for women in labour in agriculture.
