Thousands of young people are set to play mas in the National Botanical Gardens next month for the Sunshine Snacks Junior Kadooment.
The event, which is the first on a large scale since the COVID-19 pandemic, is scheduled for July 15 with 29 bands.
Speaking at the event’s launch this morning, NCF CEO Carol Roberts-Reifer says Junior Kadooment and by extension Crop Over, are about more than partying.
Sunshine Snacks is the title sponsor this year and has provided $150,000 in sponsorship.
The company’s Assistant General Manager, Kathryn Inniss, says they’re pleased to be on board for Junior Kadooment and fair.
