Rashawn Alexander, 26, who was injured last night in Nelson Street during a drive-by shooting, passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the early hours of this morning.
The Commission of Police and members of the Barbados Police Service (BPS) have expressed their condolences to the family of the deceased.
Earlier this morning, BPS reported that two persons on a motor cycle drove by along Nelson Street towards Fairchild Street and discharged a number of rounds at persons on the block and drove away, around 20:40 p.m. last night.
Police are again appealing to the public for any information, which would lead to the apprehension of the person or persons responsible for the incident.
