Operations at Western Union outlets on the island returned to normal today.
This after a global systems failure affected customers here and across the world.
According to reports reaching CBC News customers were unable to send or receive money for most of yesterday.
Many customers were left in the dark unable to make the usual transactions.
The financial services company has however been able to rectify the problem.
CBC reached out to Western Union to find out the extent of the impact here in Barbados, but a monitor with the company declined comment.
