Political Analyst Peter Wickham, is predicting the Democratic Labour Party will have a new leader after the January 19 General Election.
This as he projects a tough road ahead for President, Verla De Peiza.
Explaining his take on the situation, he believes it will be difficult for her to win the St Lucy seat in a battle against incumbent for the Barbados Labour Party, Peter Philips.
Mr Wickham says statistics show the electorate in that constituency has moved away from supporting the DLP.
According to the director of CADRES, the DLP leader is in a very vulnerable position.
