Barbadian Zane Maloney finished 11th in Sunday’s Baku’s Formula 2 in Azerbaijan.
This, after placing 9th in qualifying.
It was not the best of weekends for Maloney, as in Saturday’s sprint race, he had some misfortune when he and Victor Martins banged wheels soon after the start. This caused a right rear puncture for the Bajan driver.
Oliver Bearman, the British rookie, claimed his first Formula 2 victory. He won both the sprint and featured race.
