Starting from next month, Government will embark on a major initiative to encourage more Barbadians to join the green energy movement by purchasing electric vehicles.
During her presentation of the Financial Statement and Budgetary Proposal 2022 Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley announced that over a two year period, there will be an excise tax and VAT holiday on the purchase of such vehicles.
