Five more people have lost their battle with COVID-19.
On Friday, November 5th, a 72 year old fully vaccinated male died at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility, while a 74 year old unvaccinated male passed away at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility.
This morning, an unvaccinated 62 year old man died at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, and at the Blackman and Gollop Facility, two women, aged 76 and 89 who were partially vaccinated and unvaccinated respectively, succumbed to the virus.
The number of people who have died as a result of COVID-19 in Barbados is now 175.
Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the bereaved.
