The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified 315 new COVID-19 cases – 158 males and 157 females – on Friday, November 5th, and conducted 1,946 tests.
The new positives comprise 67 people, who are under the age of 18, and 248 who are 18 years and older.
There were 927 people in isolation facilities, and 6,471 in home isolation.
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of individuals with at least one dose is 150,015 (65.7 per cent of the eligible population).
A total of 129,280 people (47.7 per cent of the total population or 56.6 per cent of the eligible population) have received their second doses and are fully vaccinated.
The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.
The public health laboratory has carried out 400,218 tests since the beginning of the pandemic, and recorded 19,831 confirmed cases (9,574 males and 10,257 females) of COVID-19.
