149 new COVID-19 cases were reported for Sunday, November 21 – 63 males and 86 females. The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory conducted 1,241 tests.
The positive cases comprised 33 people under the age of 18, and 116 who were 18 years and older.
There were 715 people in isolation facilities, and 7,531 in home isolation.
One person died from the virus on Sunday; a 93-year-old woman passed away at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility. She was fully vaccinated.
As at November 21, 211 people had died from the virus.
The public health laboratory has carried out 426,098 tests since February last year, and recorded 23,944 cases (11,455 males and 12,489 females) of COVID-19.
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 152,928 (67 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of individuals who are fully vaccinated is 134,847 (49.8 per cent of the total population or 59 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those people. who are 12 years and older.
