Today’s Bajan Proverb can be applied literally to some of you… maybe even right now.
We’re more focused on its symbolic meaning however.
It is: “If greedy wait, hot will cool”.
Do you know what it means?
Yes your hot food will cool if you leave it a while but that’s not what we’re talking about.
Just like you will be happy not to have a burnt mouth when you wait for your food to cool, this saying is stressing that being patience will help you achieve your goals.
