CMC – Bunji Garlin won the quarter million Trinidad dollar Road March competition, following the climax of the 2023 Carnival celebrations on Tuesday night, the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians Organisation (TUCO) said.
It said that Garlin, whose real name is Ian Alvarez, had his tune, “Hard Fete” played a total of 135 times, defeating Naliah Blackman and Skinny Fabulous’s tune, “Come Home,” which was played 119 times across the two days of traditional jump up and parade of the bands.

Soca superstar, Machel Montano, who teamed up with Patrice Roberts placed third after their tune, “Like Yuhself,” was played 60 times.
