There were 110 new COVID-19 cases, 46 males and 64 females, recorded on Wednesday, March 23rd from the 723 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
Of the positive cases, 20 are people under the age of 18, and 90 are 18 years and older.
The number of people in isolation facilities was 46, while 856 were in home isolation.
As at March 23rd, there were 329 deaths from the virus.
The public health laboratory has carried out 606,118 tests since February 2020, and recorded 58,128 COVID-19 cases (26,936 males and 31,192 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 160,869 (70.4 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 150,788 (55.6 per cent of the total population or 66 per cent of the eligible population).
