Barbadian squash champion Meagan Best says she’s focusing on doing the country proud at the Commonwealth Games this summer.
Best, who currently represents the University of Virginia Cavalier Women’s Squash team in the U.S. was recently named Rookie of the Year by the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference.
The 19 year old is the first ever recipient of the award as a member of the Virginia Women’s Squash programme and second-ever Cavalier to achieve the honour across the Men’s and Women’s programmes.
