The Barbados Police Service, through its partnership with the Prince’s Trust International, has been successful in transforming the the lives of just over 400 young Barbadians since the introduction of the Personal Development Team programme back in 2016.
Thirteen young Barbadians are among the latest cohort to graduate from the 12 week programme.
Their achievements were recognised during a graduation ceremony at the Sugar Cane Club in St. Peter.
Assistant Delivery Partner Manager Station Sergeant Jamal Mohan reiterated Barbados was honoured to be chosen as the first facilitator of the programme outside of the UK.
With the latest graduation representing Team North, Barbados was told the programme will embrace all young people who have a desire to achieve their full potential.
MP for St. James North, Edmund Hinkson says the Police as part of its outreach, must engrain itself in community development.
