Dodds Prison in collaboration with the National Peace Programme launched a new initiative, the Prisoner Entertainment and Education Programme, designed to teach prisoners and also offer recreation.
19 televisions were officially handed over by Minister of State in the Office of the Attorney General with focus on Crime Prevention, Corey Lane to the prison yesterday.
Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams thanked his colleague for the interest shown in reforming the prisoners.
Meanwhile, Minister Lane says the initiative is very important.
