Facelift for community centres

More community centres in the St. Michael South Central community are set to get a facelift in short order.

This as a new community service project has been rolled out by Parliamentary Representative, Marsha Caddle and her branch.

The first community centre, the Aubrey Grant Pavilion, was spruced up this morning as several volunteers from the community rolled up their sleeves to apply several gallons of paint to its walls.

MP Caddle also pitched in to paint and told us what motivated the project.

Harris Paints donated over thirty gallons of paint to make the project a reality.

Logistics, Inventory and Retail Services Manager, Donette Wharton says they were glad to be onboard for the venture.

Meanwhile, many constituents are happy to see the centre being spruced up.

Upon learning of the idea, they willingly gave of their time and effort to transform the site.
