The celebrations of Easter activities were marred by a shooting in St. Michael has left two men nursing a number of gunshot injuries.
According to police reports the men were shot around 2:45 p.m. this afternoon in the area of Hilton Row Princess Royal Avenue in St. Michael.
The identities of the men are being withheld.
Lawmen say two males a 31-year-old and a 36-year-old were in the backyard of an enclosed residence sitting watching television.
Reports are that an unknown assailant shot through the paling structure injuring the men of which he subsequently fled the scene.
Police say one man received injuries to his head and arm while the other man was shot in the leg.
They were both transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle for treatment.
