The holiday weekend has been marred for a family, as one of the two men shot this afternoon has died.
He is 32-year-old Patrick Best, of Hilton Row, Princess Royal Avenue, the Pine, St Michael.
The Barbados Police Service noted that he passed away while receiving treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after he and another man were shot in the area of Hilton Row, Princess Royal Avenue in St. Michael around 2:45 p.m.
They previously stated that Best received an injury to his head and arm during the shooting.
