Police are seeking the public’s help in locating two missing teenage girls.

They are 14-year-old Tanik Margrita Torraine Jemmott of Mills Apartment, Haynesville, St. James and 14-year-old Ranika Zakyla Husbands of Block 13F Haynesville, also in St. James.

Tanik is a 3rd Form student of the Parkinson Memorial Secondary School.

She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, with a brown complexion and stoutly built. Tanik has a birthmark behind her left ear in the shape of a cherry.

She left the home of her mother Kimberly St. Louis in Haynesville, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 (time unknown) to go to her father Tedson Jemmott’s residence in Hillaby, St. Thomas, but never arrived and has not been seen since. Her clothing worn at the time is unknown, but she was carrying a navy blue backpack with brown flowers.

Meanwhile, Ranika, a 2nd Form student at the Ellerslie Secondary School, was last seen by her mother on Thursday, April 13, 2023, when she was given permission to visit friends in the area.

At the time, she was wearing long blue jeans pants, a t-shirt, and a pair of slippers. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall, of a light brown complexion and with a slim build.

In addition to Haynesville, she frequents the Mills Apartments, Culvert Terrace, Ifill Road and surrounding areas.

Anyone who may know of the whereabouts of Tanik Jemmott and/or Ranika Zakyla Husbands is asked to contact the Holetown Police Station at 419-1700, any other police station or Police Emergency 211.
