A total of 213 people (99 males and 114 females) tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, May 30th, from the 941 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
Of the positive cases, 57 people are under the age of 18, and 156 are 18 years and older. There were 46 people in isolation facilities, while 1,807 were in home isolation.
The public health laboratory has conducted 686,783 tests since February 2020, and recorded 80,654 COVID-19 cases (36,828 males and 43,826 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 162,385 (71.1 per cent of the eligible population).
The total number of fully vaccinated people is 152,808 (56.4 per cent of the total population or 66.9 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.
