Barbados recorded 411 new COVID-19 cases (200 males and 211 females) from the 991 tests conducted on Tuesday, July 19th, by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

Of the positive cases, 59 people are under the age of 18, and 352 are 18 years and older.

There were 49 people in isolation facilities, while 2,122 were in home isolation.

The public health laboratory has conducted 718,646 tests since February 2020, and recorded 88,565 COVID-19 cases (40,460 males and 48,105 females).

Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 162,834 (71.3 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated individuals is 153,842 (56.8 per cent of the total population or 67.4 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those who are 12 years and older.
