The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified 431 new COVID-19 cases (181 males and 250 females) from the 1,169 tests conducted on Wednesday, August 10th.
The cases comprise 60 people under the age of 18, and 371 who are 18 years and older.
There were 78 people in isolation facilities, while 4,016 were in home isolation.
The public health laboratory has conducted 740, 217 tests since February 2020, and recorded 96,781 COVID-19 cases (43,809 males and 52,972 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 163,029 (71.4 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 154,139 (56.9 per cent of the total population or 67.5 per cent of the eligible population).
