There were 431 new COVID-19 cases (198 males and 233 females) recorded on Monday, August 15th, from the 1,201 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
The cases comprise 61 people under the age of 18, and 370 who are 18 years and older.
The number of people in isolation facilities was 70, while 3,731 were in home isolation.
The public health laboratory has conducted 744,592 tests since February 2020, and recorded 98,277 COVID-19 cases (44,437 males and 53,840 females).
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of people with at least one dose is 163,069 (71.4 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated people is 154,186 (56.9 per cent of the total population or 67.5 per cent of the eligible population).
