72 people tested positive for COVID-19 from the 485 tests conducted on Tuesday, September 6th, by laboratories across the island.
The cases consist of eight people under the age of 18, and 64 who are 18 years and older.
There were 52 people in isolation facilities, while 682 were in home isolation.
The laboratories conducted 758,171 tests since February 2020, and recorded 101,696 COVID-19 cases.
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of fully vaccinated people is 154,458 (57 per cent of the total population or 67.6 per cent of the eligible population).
