Family, along with former students and colleagues, turned out in their numbers to pay their respects to late educator this afternoon.
Mr. Sealy, who became the first principal of the then Garrison Secondary School when it opened in 1975, died last month at the age of 94.
Today, his body lay in repose at the school which was renamed in his honour in 2012.
Harold Ruck, who taught at the school under Mr. Sealy’s leadership, says many students went on to excel because they were given a place at the institution.
A number of former students also spoke highly of the late principal.
