Agriculture Minister Indar Weir has given reassurances that efforts are ongoing to ensure that former workers of the Barbados Agricultural Management Company, BAMC, get all monies that are due to them by today.
This follows the recent wind-up of operations at the BAMC, ahead of its transition into new private sector-led ownership.
The Minister says talks are set to resume with the unions next week, on the details of the new way forward.
