A number of Crop Over bands have been making use of duty free concessions to cut the costs of importing costume supplies.

That’s according to Senior Business Development Officer with the National Cultural Foundation, Andre Hoyte.

He was speaking during a media event to announce Payce Digital as the digital payment partner for the 2023 Crop Over Festival.

Bandleader of Colorz Entertainment, Bryan Worrell, has confirmed his band is utilising the concession.

He however notes shipping continues to be a challenge with importing some supplies.

As mentioned, Payce Digital has partnered with the National Cultural Foundation for this year’s festival.

Chief Executive Officer, Alison Browne-Ellis, explains that under the agreement, Payce Digital cardholders will have a secure way to pay for costumes and tickets for all major events.
