Barbadians opting to file taxes early

Barbadians are opting to file their taxes early this tax filing season.

This is a welcomed move for the Barbados Revenue Authority.

The BRA is also reporting citizens are taking advantage of the various tax clinics put on by the Revenue Authority to assist.

Senior Manager of Tax Operations, Fay Greenidge says they want persons to be comfortable in filing their returns.

Ms. Greenidge was a guest on CBC TV8’s Mornin’ Barbados.

While the current tax clinics by the Barbados Revenue Authority cater to individuals, Manager of Tax Operations at the BRA, Linda Best says there’s a special set-up for businesses.
