Barbadians have been reacting to news of the Fair Trading Commission’s ruling and the imminent increases in electricity bills.
Yesterday, FTC officials announced the Barbados Light and Power Company Limited had been granted an interim rate increase.
However, it is only half of what the utility company was asking for.
It took effect from Friday.
Some tell CBC they will feel the pinch while others point out they have no choice but to accept the change.
